Maruti Vitara Brezza Engine & Transmission
Initially, the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza will be made available only with a diesel powertrain, while the petrol model will arrive at a later stage. Power for the diesel model comes from a 1.3-litre Multijet motor that pushes out 89bhp of power at 4,000rpm and 200Nm of torque at 2,000rpm. It’s the same engine that does duty to the Ciaz sedan. This powertrain will be paired to 5-speed manual transmission.
Maruti Vitara Mileage
Powered by the 1.3L DDiS 200, the same that powers the Baleno, S-Cross & Swift, the Maruti Vitara Brezza is expected to return mileage over 25kmpl, which will make it one of the most fuel-efficient SUVs in the country.
